Our folding Aurora screen was initially developed for an exhibition at the Iconoclastes gallerynear Place Vendôme, Paris. Inspired by the location internationally-recognised for it’s important and historic jewellery makers, McCollin Bryan designed and created their own tribute to the craftsmanship of the stone setter in this dramatic, sculptural screen.
Different shades of green mirrored resin ovals sit within and are connected by a powder-coated black bronze metal structure.

The first of our new limited series unites a group of interconnected scagliola panels with a sequence of different colour combinations, in an uplifting painterly composition of balanced, complimentary surfaces.
With a nod to the dynamism and energy of the Radical Design and Memphis movements we re-interpret and embrace it’s spirit in this new GiO_D table.

Our classic Lens Table in rose tinted resin backed by a bronze mirror and placed on brass legs.
The paisley form, with its origin in the yin and yang symbol, is said to represent the journey of life, full of twists and turns. Our Alex coffee tables are moulded forms in a paisley pattern cast in various types of hard paster with scooped out bowls. We use contrasting polished and matt plasters for tabletops (powder pink and coral red) and legs (zinc grey).

Upward growing stalagmites form in natural caves over a very long period of time, about 1 centimetre per 100 years and these fascinating rock, lava or ice formations served as the inspiration for our Stalagmite candlesticks.

Don McCollin and Maureen Bryan’s partnership, established in 1988, enabled their individual design talents to spark off each other. Key to their practice is their interest in material, form and function through the use of cast resins and plasters combined with metals, wood and acrylic. Working with traditional materials they create bold and innovative contemporary pieces.

Scagliola (pronounced “scal-y-oh-lah”) is a centuries-old technique for creating surfaces that mimic fine marble and other noble materials. This decorative man-made plaster, used since the Roman era, enjoyed a renaissance in the 18th century.

The Coffee Bean is McCollin Bryan’s most celebrated piece in scagliola, a centuries-old technique for creating surfaces that mimic marble and stone but with a warmer feel when touched. This beautiful table creates a distinctive impression with its sculptural organic form and subtle, varied surface.
Each piece is finished by hand and pigmented individually resulting in unique and subtle variations. The coffee table, which can strong enough to sit on, is available in 5 sizes from 80-150 cms in diameter.

McCollin Bryan x Diespeker : our collaboration with a company with a long and rich history in the art of marble and terrazzo.
Diespeker has been a major supplier of surface materials to the UK and worldwide markets since their foundation in 1881. They have had a significant influence on the sector, from devising methods of creating reinforced precast terrazzo in the 1920s to innovating with precast terrazzo in the 1980s. They have become a refined operation with a purpose-built London factory boasting the latest in Italian cutting and polishing technology, skilled craftsmen and consummate experience in all processes.
Diespeker and McCollin Bryan are delighted to create their first collaboration : the Terrazzo Coffee Bean table. The sculptural design is perfect for casting in terrazzo. The collection, using tumbled Carrara marble, is being produced in a curated choice in either Indigo (main image), Tan, Ash or Conifer base colours.

This striking sculptural asymmetric console table consists of two separate modules which can be arranged in alternating combinations.
The modules are mirror images of each other enabling tessellation of the repeated triangular shapes.
The scagliola surfaces have a natural looking patina and are lightly textured in places. Every piece is pigmented individually and made by hand to order.

The multi-tonal effects created by the rich hues in the Lunar table suggest it is lit from within. The depth of colour gives the impression of looking upon something precious and otherworldly.
McCollin Bryan’s approach is driven by a desire to create pieces with are as visually stunning as they are functional. Resin is their signature material, which produces a striking finish, encouraging a tactile and emotive response. The nature of working with it allows the team to forego industrialised processes and instead work in an instinctive, artisanal style that focuses on hand-crafting. Fraxile cocktail table is McCollin Bryan’s experiment in combining recycled glass with midnight blue resin. It pays homage to the rich qualities in fractal resin designs of Marie-Claude de Fouquières in the 1970s. This French artist was only producing these works for 8 years, so they are extremely rare. A poetic effect obtained through a chemical reaction is sometimes compared to crushed ice or shatterline.
This collectible coffee table is a coloured resin oval set into a solid brass frame. This jewellery-inspired object resembles a giant accessory, as if a goldsmith set a cabochon in a bezel. Much like with the cocktail rings, which can be worn on on several fingers at once, you don’t have to restrict yourself to one cocktail table; they look great in a flamboyant group.

For Don McCollin and Maureen Bryan, a timepiece is a rather special item, as it was the first serious project by our design duo. We were inspired by the warmth of surfaces in architectural salvage to create a minimal form in cast concrete and gold leaf. These modernist clock sold exceptionally well in Heals and other department stores, which eventually allowed us to open a full-fledged studio.
Unfortunately we ceased production of these well over 10 years ago but the right replacement mechanisms can still be found on the market.

Ever inspired by the beauty of nature in all it’s manifestations, this is a spectacular dining table in cast resin on a streamlined patinated brass or black base allowing the full beauty of the top to shine.
The four linked elements are in earth, water and fire tones of Amber, Turquoise and Green.
McCollin Bryan’s philosophy is to create functional furniture & objects with subtle and intriguing forms.
Our Abyssus Table, with a deep and rich finish, comprises a highly polished resin surface which conceals a gilt core. The darkened resin creates a curious veil over the opulent centre, drawing the eye in giving the impression of looking into deep water.

Care:
The resin should be cleaned with a multi-surface, wax-free polish and a soft, clean cloth.
Fine scratches may occur with use but will be reduced with regular polishing.
Please avoid placing hot items on the surface. This may cause damage to the resin.
